Dear Parents and Students of the Community,
On behalf of N.B. Clements DECA, I hope this message finds you well. As part of our mission to foster leadership and community service, N.B. Clements DECA is organizing a donation drive to support the victims of Hurricane Helene. The hurricane has left many families in North Carolina in urgent need of basic supplies, and we want to do our part to help them through this difficult time.
We are partnering with St. Stephens & St. Peters Lutheran Churches to collect essential items that will directly aid those affected by the storm. We encourage you to join us in this effort by donating supplies from the list provided below. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.
-
Non-perishable food items, dry & canned goods
-
Disposable utensils & plates
-
Beverages (water, Gatorade)
-
Paper products (toilet paper/towels)
-
Buckets & cleaning supplies (trash bags, disinfectant wipes, etc.)
-
Flashlights, batteries & power banks
-
Children’s books through middle school
-
New (packaged) socks of all sizes
-
Personal care items (toothbrushes/paste, deodorant, soap, combs, wet wipes, etc.)
-
Feminine hygiene products
-
Hand soap & sanitizer
The donation drive will run from October 9, 2024 to October 19, 2024, and items can be dropped off at the main office of N.B. Clements during the school hours of 7am-3:30pm. Our DECA students will be working hard to collect, organize, and ensure these supplies reach those in need as quickly as possible.
